Which Stunt Scooter Grips fit my scooter?
The standardized grips in diameter generally fit on any scooter bar. Even BMX grips or bicycle grips are usable. They provide important cushioning for your hands when jumping and ensure a perfect grip, enabling controlled riding and trick execution. We offer grips made of rubber and foam. Rubber grips are popular due to their pleasant grip feel and good grip even when sweating. Foam grips, on the other hand, are lighter and ideal for those who prefer a particularly light setup.
Bar Ends with Scooter Grips
Most new grips come with bar ends, but they often only fit steel and titanium bars. Thinner bar ends are required for aluminum bars, which are thinner on the inside. For safety reasons, we always recommend installing bar ends to avoid injuries from sharp metal edges of the handlebars. Plastic bar ends wear out quickly, so durable aluminum bar ends are a good choice. These often fit aluminum, steel, and titanium bars and provide additional protection in case of falls.
How do I install Scooter Grips?
We'll tell you how to easily pull your grips onto your bar. The easiest way is with brake cleaner, which makes the grips slide on smoothly. But often you don't have brake cleaner at hand, so use hairspray instead. It dries a bit slower, but after 1-2 hours, you can use the new grips as usual. If you don't have either, water will also work. Simply moisten the inside of the grips and then pull them on.
