Ethic DTC Ethic DTC Fork Heracles 12 STD SCS
The First Nearly Indestructible Steel Fork by Ethic
The Ethic Heracles 12 STD SCS Fork was designed to combine maximum durability with modern lightweight performance. Ethic uses premium 4130 CrMo steel, offering long-lasting strength and significantly better resistance to material fatigue compared to aluminum. The result is an ultra-strong fork built for demanding street and park riders.
Thanks to advanced manufacturing technologies such as heat-treated and butted fluted tubing, the weight has been drastically reduced. This makes the Heracles one of the lightest steel scooter forks on the market, competing directly with many aluminum forks.
Optimized for Modern Scooter Setups
The Heracles Fork was specifically developed for 12 STD wheels, providing maximum strength and stability for modern scooter setups. Thanks to the included adapters, it is also compatible with classic 8 STD wheels in 24 mm width. Built-in spacers allow easy installation of different wheel widths up to 30 mm.
The SCS version has been specially optimized for SCS compression systems, delivering excellent stiffness and control for big drops and hard landings.

Ethic DTC Warranty
The products from Ethic DTC are designed for freestyle use, and their durability depends on the rider's usage. Each rider must choose a product that suits their needs, body size, skill level, and riding style: lightweight and precise for experienced riders, heavier and more stable for beginners.
It is important to note that the development of high-end parts typically focuses on responsiveness, weight, and feel. They are therefore theoretically less resistant than entry-level parts and should be avoided by beginners.
All Ethic DTC products come with a warranty against manufacturing defects that may affect material resistance before use: functional geometry, welds. Aesthetic defects are not covered: paint, water decals, anodization.
A list of parts that are not covered by the warranty after first use includes parts with limited lifespans that must be replaced over time:
- Clamps
- Headsets
- Bearings
- Grip tape
- Grips
- Brakes
List of parts covered by the warranty after first use:
Wheels:
Wheels are covered for 1 month from the date of purchase. The following issues are covered:
- Cracks in the core
- Core deformation
- Rubber detachment, rendering the wheel unusable
Not covered:
- Superficial deterioration of the PU that does not affect the rolling capability of the wheel.
Forks:
Forks are covered for 3 months from the date of purchase. The following issues are covered:
- Deformation of the tube
- Cracks in the lower part
- Threading defects on the compression cap
Not covered:
- Breakage of the compression or axles (these are available as replacement parts in stores).
Bars:
Bars are covered for 3 months from the date of purchase. The following issues are covered:
- Cracks at the slit
- Breakage of the bar
- Significant deformation making the bar unusable
Not covered:
- Cracks in the upper part of the bar. Some cracks are superficial and stabilize over time. The bar must be either bent or broken for the warranty to apply.
Deck:
Decks are covered for 1 month against banana effects and 3 months for cracks or breakages, depending on the affected area.
The banana effect refers to the extrusion of the deck (the part you stand on). This area is stable in production and rarely affected by manufacturing defects. If the deck deforms, it means the deck is undersized for the rider. It is strongly recommended to choose a different model in the future to avoid repeating the same issue.
Areas covered by the crack warranty (cracks that soon lead to a deck break):
- Any cracks in the front part of the deck (forged or welded parts). For non-forged decks (Erawan/Artefact), the warranty only applies to the weld connecting the neck to the head tube.
Complete Scooter:
For complete scooters, each part is subject to the warranty conditions applicable to its type. Only individual parts are replaced, not the entire scooter.
