Find the Right Clamp for Your Scooter
Clamps are typically made of aluminum and offer versatility in design. A good clamp prevents the handlebar from twisting in relation to the fork and keeps your bar stable in position. However, it's important to ensure that the clamp diameter matches your handlebar. There are two standard sizes: Standard-Size and Oversized.
Compatibility is Key
Most clamps are compatible with all handlebar sizes and come with clamp shims for Standard-Size bars. If you have an Oversized handlebar (Aluminum, Titanium, or Steel-Oversized), choose a clamp designed for Oversized bars. Most modern clamps are Double Clamps, secured with two screws. There are also taller Triple or Quad Clamps, but these are less common due to their heavier weight and lack of advantages. Don't confuse clamps with SCS Clamps, which not only serve as a clamp but also as a compression system. You can find SCS clamps in the Compressions category.
