Das Headset, oder auch Steuerlager genannt, muss immer leichtgängig laufen sonst dreht sich dein Deck oder Lenker nicht. Achte darauf es regelmäßig zu ölen und es dankt dir, hält länger und ist natürlich noch schneller beim whippen oder spinnen!

Headsets come in two versions: non-integrated and integrated. Most decks are already designed for an integrated headset. Integrated headsets, as the name suggests, are built into the deck and feature a closed steering bearing construction, which is particularly stable and allows for optimal rotation.
Regular Maintenance
A headset doesn't require much maintenance, but it's important to oil the ball bearings regularly. The headset in your deck consists of two bearings, one on top and one on the bottom. A drop of bearing oil on each bearing from the outside and a few turns of the handlebars are usually sufficient. You don't even have to remove anything. For optimal results, professionals occasionally remove, clean, and grease the parts to better protect them from contamination.
Keep It Dry
It's important not to leave your scooter wet for too long. If it gets wet, quickly bring it to a warm place where it can dry. Never leave your scooter outdoors overnight, as moisture can damage the headset.
